Brisbane Property Buyers go to Bush- Extra Cash for First Home Buyers
Brisbane Property buyers have an added incentive to move to the beautiful bush. The Queensland government is offering First Home buyers an extra $4,000 to buy their first property in the regional country side areas.
First-home buyers in regional areas will receive an additional $4000 from the Queensland Government in a bid to disperse the state’s booming population.
The First Home Owners Grant will be increased to $11,000 to encourage more people to purchase property in the regions. The new initiative is part of the state government’s response to its Growth Management Summit held in March.
The grant will apply to all areas outside south east Queensland. It will be here to stay from July 1 but will be reviewed each year.

The boost to the existing first-home owners grant follows the annoucement yesterday that three new cities will be built in south-east Queensland. The new communities will be located at Ripley Valley in Ipswich and Yarrabilba and Greater Flagstone in Logan. They are expected to accommodate a total of 250,000 people.
